Well, Chris has been hospitalized since the 26th of Aug. He suffered serious injuries to include a Stroke and multiple fractres to his left leg. The Stroke was caused by a tear in an artery in his neck that was clotting. He has been treated with medication to prevent further clotting. He has also undergone surgery to repair the left leg. He is currently going through physical and speech therapy. Drs are predicting that he may be moved to the J Paul Sticht Center for inpatient physical rehab by the middle of the week. There has also been some more event scheduled for the "Rock For Cox Benefit" please be sure to check the schedule by clicking on the "Dates" tab above.

| Rock for Cox Benefit |
September 04, 2009 |
|
For those of you that are not aware, Chris Cox was in an accident and has since been hospitalized. He suffered multiple compound fractures to his left leg and is awaiting surgery to correct it. He also has suffered a couple strokes and is currently hospitalized and recovering from those. As many of you may know, Chris is self employed. He earns his living between carpentry and gigging with the Chris Cox Band, Motorjunkie, and as a solo artist. Being that he is hospitalized, he is unable to generate any income. We are hoping to raise some funds to cover his daily living expenses and hospital bills that will not be covered by insurance. There are a couple events this month in Fayetteville. First will be on the 19th at Hadez (formerly FUBAR) on Raeford Road. Second will be Sept 25th at The Rock Shop. This will be a long line up of local bands and items donated by local vendors will be raffled. A poker run is also being organized and once a date is confirmed I will post more about it.Flowers and cards can be sent to Chris, he is currently in room 454 in the Ardmore Tower at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Finally, keep an eye on our calendar here for updates on Rock for Cox benefit events. Your participation and donations will be greatly appreciated.

| A forced break |
June 27, 2008 |
|
Motorjunkie has been forced into taking a break from performing live.As many of you are aware, our guitarist is an active duty service member. Unfortunately for us Billy has been given orders to attend a school that he is not able to decline. This school will last approx. 10 months. Although Billy will be in Texas, production of the new album will begin during this time frame. This is not the first time that Motorjunkie, and our fans, have been in this situation. We made it through the last time, and this time we have a solid line up locked in and we all feel confident that we will be able to pull through. This has truly been a shock to us all.We appreciate your continued support and patience. Keep checking the bands web page and the myspace page for news and possibly new tracks from the upcoming album.

| Too Much Power? |
March 17, 2008 |
|
So we went down to Savannah Ga and tried to play a show hosted by the local Wingmen MC. Turned out nobody gave the power company any warning that we were coming. About 4 songs into the set and the power grid for the area went down for the evening. We waited it out, hoping that the power would be restored, but it didn't happen. A special thanks to the Savannah Wingmen for their hospitality, the assistance with loading in and out the equipment, and the invitation for us to come and play. Hopefully we will be able to come down again.

We would like to thank the Gautier family for their support and hope to see a lot of our fans out at the race track to help support this race team.

Dying slow is still holding on to the top 40 chart on Garageband.com. Currently #38 and featured as "Track Of The Week" for this week. Go to www.Garageband.com and select the Hard Rock chart. Although we are #38 on that chart, we are still the highest ranked band in NC. Go see for yourself.

| #1 in the State |
November 11, 2007 |
|
Motorjunkie has reached level 3 in the contest at Garageband.com. "Dying Slow" is now #34 on the Hard Rock chart and has been the highest ranked band in North Carolina for about three months now. The song has moved up and down a couple slots on the chart but hasn't fallen below another NC band for months. You can read the reviews of "Dying Slow" and watch the progress of this song and two others at www.garageband.com/artist/motorjunkie. Thanks to all of you that have already gone to the site and listened to these songs. We owe our ranking to you. At the end of the road for this contest is a slot in the rotation on Yahoo's Launchcast radio.

A time has come for change with the performing members of Motorjunkie. Michael Cooper has decided to leave Motorjunkie. Michael has been MJ's bass player for three years now and it is a great loss to the band. We all wish him the best as he strives to take his music in another direction.

Wow..where to begin. We disappeared on everyone for a while to recover from the departure of our founding member and brother Wrench. He had an opportunity that he just couldn't pass up and is out of the country for a year or so making some good cash. We sure miss him. On the bright side, we found a kick-ass skin pounder to fill his big shoes. Marty Zellers is injecting his metal influences into the rhythm section to add a little spice to the mix. I know we promised everyone that we would be giving you a new CD by now, and I assure you that we are working on it. We have it all written, and just waiting to get into the studio. Keep your ears open for us as we will be hitting the scene as posted, so get ready for a kick ass year with us. Hope to see all of you out at the shows. Thanks to all of you that have been there and continue to support us. You guys(and girls)are the best.
